I have compiled a database of all the references to ‘noise’ and ‘silence’ in the PHI Latin library. This work was part of my PhD and can be downloaded here. The spreadsheet gives the total count, author, word, starting date, ending date, and style of writing (either prose or poetry). There are 5,099 references in total and I did not breakdown the references beyond the auther (so, not listing of individual references within each text). I also produced a number of graphs and charts to visualise the data set, which are posted below.

I have also merged the PHI databse of noise/silence terms with another databse of references to street_terms. The resulting visualisations are from the merging of the two databases.
